2012 Post-Election Webinars: What do the results of the elections mean to you?
Thursday, November 08, 2012
Due to popular demand, we've decided to change the format for our 2012 Post-Election Seminars from in-person events to webinars! Now you can participate in either the morning program or the afternoon program, regardless of geographic location. Please see below for additional details.
Election time in our country is always a time of uncertainty. Who will be elected and what changes will result? During this webinar, Nossaman attorneys and policy advisors from California and Washington, DC will provide a post mortem on the Presidential, Senate and House elections, including an overview of possible cabinet level changes and changes in Congressional Leadership. A Q&A session will follow the presentations.
Additional topics include:
- An update on the "lame duck" agenda, including what can be expected for expiring tax cuts, "sequestration," other "extenders," and the debt ceiling limit
- Insight on the 113th session of Congress and what changes, if any, to major initiatives such as healthcare and Wall Street reform can be expected
- An overview of California elections and their impact
In order to tailor our 2012 Post-Election Webinar to fit your needs, we want to hear from you! Please take our survey and tell us which issues surrounding the 2012 state and federal elections and the end of the current session of Congress are of most interest to you.
