West Coast Ambulatory Surgery Center Seminar: Preparing Your ASC For Sale

Nossaman LLP held its inaugural West Coast Ambulatory Surgery Center seminar on October 2, 2014 at the City Club Los Angeles. The program consisted of a networking breakfast followed by three one-hour sessions and focused on preparing an ambulatory surgery center (ASC) for sale and navigating three-way joint-ventures among hospitals, management companies and physicians and ASC transactions. Nossaman Corporate Practice Group Leader, Ron Grace, served as moderator. Panel speakers included: Nossaman Partners, Robert Mosher and Gregory Cochran; Peggy Sanborn, Vice President Partnership Integration, Dignity Health; James Jackson, Senior Vice President of Development, United Surgical Partners International (USPI); Kevin McDonough, Partner, VMG Health; Jon Vick, Founder and President, ASCs Inc.; Bill Simon, Senior Vice President, The Bloom Organization; and Dr. Paul Lynch, Co-Founder, Pain Doctor. Attendee participation was encouraged through Q&A, as well as real-life scenarios offered by audience members and analyzed and discussed by panelists. The feedback from both the attendees and panelists has been very positive and we will soon begin planning next year's seminar.
