Nossaman's Partners Recognized as "Best"

Best Lawyers, a highly regarded peer-review legal publication, has named five Nossaman attorneys in their annual referral guide, The Best Lawyers in America.

David Kimport has been recognized for real estate law; Marty Mattes for administrative/regulatory, communications, and energy law; Kurt Melchior for insurance law; Linda Morgan for both railroad and transportation law; and Rob Thornton for environmental litigation.  Linda Morgan was also named the Best Lawyers' 2014 Washington DC Railroad Law "Lawyer of the Year."

The Best Lawyers lists appear online at BestLawyers.com, in custom publications distributed in targeted regions, and in various third-party publications around the globe. 

Inclusion in Best Lawyers is based on peer review. Best Lawyers asks voters the question: "If you were unable to take a case yourself, how likely would you be to refer it to this nominee?" Nominees are given a 1-5 rating, with room to leave additional comments. Editors make final decisions based both on comments that are made about a nominee during the polling process and on the nominees' average rating.
