Creative Licensing: What Can I Do with My License?
Marco Costales presented "Creative Licensing: What You Can (and Can’t) Do with Your License" during the 2018 CA Craft Beer Summit that took place September 6, 2018 at the Sacramento Convention Center. Hosted by the California Craft Brewers Association, the event provided educational opportunities for members of the craft brewing industry.
Marco’s presentation reviewed the California Alcohol Beverage Control Act, a legal framework that heavily regulates the alcohol industry, and impacts brewers, wine makers, spirits producers, retailers, distributors, and even consumers. He explored how members of the industry can use their license to stay cutting edge, continuing to receive consumers' discretionary spending even as competition increases across market categories.
