We are seeking a Chief Information Officer (CIO) to lead the Firm's Information and Support Services Department. The CIO is responsible for information technology and security, information governance, risk management, practice support, records, knowledge management and technology training across the Firm. This position is a key member of Firm leadership and works closely with the Executive Committee, practice group leaders and other key stakeholders to set priorities and to develop and implement strategies/programs in support of Firm goals. The CIO also leads the Firm’s Technology Committee. The position reports to the Chief Operating Officer and requires the individual to reside in California and be based in one of Nossaman's California offices (Los Angeles, Orange County, San Francisco or Sacramento).
We are seeking a Financial Systems Engineer to join the Information Technology team. This position is responsible for the planning, maintenance and support of the Firm’s financial system, Aderant, as well as architecting, supporting and maintaining the Intapp workflow and database environments. This position assumes responsibility for technical troubleshooting activities and acts as the point person for resolution of financial systems-related service requests. This position uses broad knowledge of IT disciplines, including client-server, security and database infrastructure, to sync data between various Firm financial and enterprise systems. The Financial Systems Engineer is part of the Information Technology Department, reporting to the Information Technology Director.
We are seeking a Human Resources (HR) Coordinator to join our Human Resources team. The HR Coordinator will support the team in a variety of key HR functional areas such as staff recruiting, onboarding, orientation and professional development, in addition to providing general administrative support. Key responsibilities include assisting with the recruitment and onboarding of administrative staff professionals, supporting performance management and development initiatives for administrative staff professionals and providing general administrative support to the HR team.
We are seeking a Legal Support Services Supervisor to manage the Firm’s legal secretaries, administrative assistants, word processing and docketing groups. The ideal candidate will play a crucial part in enhancing collaboration, streamlining workflows and ensuring the efficient functioning of our legal support teams. The responsibilities for the role will include optimizing processes to maximize productivity, while also ensuring the excellent working relationships continue to thrive between the Firm’s attorneys and the Legal Support Services teams. This role requires a unique blend of interpersonal skills, organizational prowess and a deep understanding of the legal environment. The Legal Support Services Supervisor reports to the Firm’s Practice Support Services Director and will be located in either the Los Angeles or Orange County office.
We are seeking an experienced Practice Group Coordinator for an exciting opportunity to support attorneys in two of our prominent practice groups, Environment & Land Use and Eminent Domain & Valuation, and to work closely with the respective Group Chairs. This position is responsible for a broad range of administrative and operational duties, including advancing key initiatives and working with the Firm’s administrative departments in a liaison role to communicate the needs and plans of the groups.
We are seeking an experienced Practice Group Coordinator for an exciting opportunity to support attorneys in our internationally-recognized Infrastructure Group. The Practice Group Coordinator is responsible for a broad range of administrative and operational duties. This position will work closely with the Infrastructure Group Chair to advance key initiatives and with the Firm’s administrative departments in a liaison role to communicate the needs and plans of the Infrastructure Group.
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Proposal Specialist to join our Business Development Department. This person plays an integral role in the Firm's business development efforts by developing competitive, high-quality RFP responses and proposals from start to finish. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the proposal development process – from kickoff and work plan development to document production, editing and final review as well as interview presentation deliverables. The position reports to the Firm’s Proposal Manager.
We are seeking an experienced Records & Information Governance Manager who will play an integral role in the development, implementation and improvement of the Firm’s processes and procedures that manage client records and information through their legal lifecycle. This position oversees the day-to-day operations of the Records team and supports all records-related initiatives across the Firm’s offices. The Records & Information Governance Manager works closely with the Risk Management team, the IT Department and the General Counsel to help implement sound IG practices.
