Won complete defense verdict after a five-week jury trial, and preserved that win on appeal. Recovered more than $600,000 in attorneys' fees for client.
Parrish v. IP Global Voice. Successfully defended IP Global Voice against five claims seeking damages for breach of contract. Prevailed on all claims before trial. Obtained a court order that required plaintiff to pay every cent of client's attorneys' fees.
Mitsubishi Electric & Electronics v. Hughes Network Systems. Successfully represented Mitsubishi Electric & Electronics in suit to recover contract damages arising out of the design and construction of $3.5 billion satellite-communication system. Obtained jury verdict for Mitsubishi.
FDIC v. Lent. Obtained favorable settlement for Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation in corporate-governance and accounting-fraud suit against directors and officers of failed online credit-card bank.
Kensington v. Masonite Corporation. Defended International Paper Co. against $30-million construction-defect suit. Settled on favorable terms during trial.
Farmers Insurance Exchange, et al. v. Ray Wersching Agency. Obtained favorable settlement for Aon Corporation in lawsuit brought by the Farmers Insurance Group alleging failure to properly remit premiums.
