Cities Must Prove Blight

Nossaman attorney Brad Kuhn is quoted in the Daily Journal article, "Cities Must Prove Blight."  The article discusses this week's decision by the 6th District Court of Appeal to halt the city of Glendora's redevelopment plans. The decision hinges on the definition of "physical blight" which is a requirement for condemnation.

Mr. Kuhn said, "This opinion shows that you can't call anything you want blighted. There really has to be substance behind why there is a blight finding."
