Nossaman Senior Policy Advisor Richard Harris, who is a member of the Davis, Calif., school board, was quoted in the Sacramento Bee article "Davis voters again approve school parcel tax."

For the fourth time in five years, Davis voters approved a school parcel tax to make up for state funding cuts and to avoid reductions in programs and teaching staff.

"Every vote was a display of how people value education," said Mr. Harris. "In Davis, parents want the extra science classes, the smaller class sizes, the elementary school music programs, and they're willing to vote for them."
