The firm established an internal Diversity Committee in 2005 comprised of attorneys and staff members. The committee meets monthly to discuss how we can continue to improve our hiring and advancement practices.

We are a member of the Southern California Diversity Pipeline Coalition spearheaded by Southern California Edison focusing on the mentorship of students in the greater Los Angeles County area.
In addition, Nossaman was ranked 5th in California in a survey by California Lawyer in 2005 for having the highest percentage of female partners. The firm was also named "Employer of the Year" in 2006 by the Los Angeles Chapter of the Women’s Transportation Seminar.
The beneficiaries of these efforts are our clients. We believe that firms who represent a broader segment of the population are also better versed on issues that impact a spectrum of individuals.
