Erik Beck

Erik Beck is a member of Nossaman's Environment and Land Use Practice Group. In addition to spending time as a summer associate at Nossaman, Mr. Beck has served as a law clerk for the Office of Chief Counsel of the California Energy Commission in Sacramento where he researched and drafted legal memoranda on energy and environmental issues, including solar power plant siting, the California Environmental Quality Act, and the Federal Land Policy Management Act. Mr. Beck also spent time as a law clerk for the Public Law Center (PLC) in Santa Ana. His experience there included researching and drafting memoranda relating to various land use issues, including affordable housing, housing element law, and Senate Bill 375 and participating in negotiations between community advocates and city officials in shaping local transit-oriented development projects.
