Harleen Kaur is a member of Nossaman's Litigation Department focusing primarily on financial services and bankruptcy matters. Ms. Kaur has experience in federal and state court including developing case strategy, preparing witnesses, and participating in settlement negotiations.
She has experience working on SEC investigations and accounting issues such as stock options backdating. Her work has included preparing for depositions and cross-examinations, document production, drafting motions, responding to interrogatories, and writing research memoranda.
Prior to joining Nossaman, Ms. Kaur practiced business litigation at an international law firm. She served as a law clerk to the Honorable Ferdinand F. Fernandez in the Ninth Circuit U.S. District Court of Appeals and as a judicial extern in the same court for the Honorable Kim M. Wardlaw. Ms. Kaur served as a judicial extern in Los Angeles Superior Court to the Honorable Andria Richey. She is fluent in Punjabi and Hindi.
