Air Quality
Nossaman advises clients on a wide range of air quality issues. Our administrative and litigation experience helps our clients resolve disputes with federal, state and local regulatory agencies. Our attorneys have advised clients and defended actions under the Clean Air Act, the California Health and Safety Code, and various local air quality management district regulations.
We work closely with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, the California Air Resources Board, and various local Air Quality Management Districts on a variety of projects. We have successfully implemented compliance strategies and settlements, routinely assist clients in obtaining air quality permits, and provide counsel on compliance laws specific to California.
Nossaman has advised and represented clients at local air pollution control districts throughout California including, the South Coast Air Quality Management District, the Bay Area Air Quality Management District, the San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District, the Monterey Bay Unified Air Pollution Control District and San Luis Obispo Air Pollution Control District.
