Chambers Recognizes Nossaman's Eminent Domain, Environment & Land Use, Healthcare, and Infrastructure Groups

Chambers & Partners has recognized 12 Nossaman attorneys along with the Firm's Eminent Domain, Environment & Land Use, Healthcare and Infrastructure Groups in its 2019 Chambers USA guide of leading law firms and lawyers.

The 2019 edition distinguishes Nossaman as one of only three firms in the top-tier of law firms nationally in the Projects: Public Private Partnership (PPP) category. Chambers notes that the group is one of the go-to firms for representation of public sector clients including state authorities, government departments and universities in the PPP space and its well-known ability in road and rail PPP structures is augmented by additional skill in social infrastructure projects.

Corey Boock is recognized for offering excellent feedback during discussions about what needs and services clients may require to accomplish their goal of delivering a design-build project, and Barney Allison is lauded for having a really strong grasp of the overall legal and contractual requirements that go into a design-build procurement."

Chambers also recognized Nossaman as a leading law firm in Environmental law in California, Texas, Washington, and Washington, DC

Robert Thornton (California), Svend Brandt-Erichsen (Washington), Linda Larson (Washington), Steve Quarles (Washington, DC) and Brooke Wahlberg (Texas), all members of the Firm’s Environment & Land Use Group, were recognized as leading attorneys in their respective states. Recognized again as a leading firm in Healthcare in California, Nossaman was singled out for its strength in medical peer review, fraud and abuse laws, EMTALA issues and employment law matters. Additionally, Fred Dombo, the Chair of Nossaman's Government Relations & Regulation Group, was once again ranked nationally in the Political Law category. This was the second year that Fred received this recognition from Chambers.
