Steven Quarles Named Energy and Environmental Trailblazer by National Law Journal

Nossaman Partner Steven Quarles was recognized by the National Law Journal as an "Energy and Environmental Trailblazer" for 2016. Mr. Quarles  was acknowledged for his extensive accomplishments in Endangered Species and Wildlife law--including his service as counsel on the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee where he was a primary staff drafter on many of the critical reforms to public land law, and for his work as Deputy Undersecretary of the Interior during the Carter Administration.  For this honor, the National Law Journal composed 50 profiles on energy and environmental attorneys across the U.S. who have made their mark in various aspects of legal work in the areas of energy and environmental law, and have shown a deep compassion and perseverance in pursuit  of their mission, having achieved remarkable successes along the way.
