Associate | Litigation (Washington, DC)
We are seeking a litigation associate with 3-9 years of experience to join our Washington, DC office. We offer a collegial environment as well as excellent advancement opportunities for associates, including a transparent and achievable path to partnership. We are seeking candidates who have substantial experience drafting pleadings, briefs and motions in state and federal court, and discovery experience including depositions and drafting/arguing discovery motions. The successful candidate will be able to manage multiple, time-sensitive projects efficiently, work well as part of a team and be willing to take ownership over significant projects. Experience representing policyholders in insurance recovery matters is preferred but not required. Admission to the DC Bar or eligibility to apply for DC Bar admission is required.
Annual Billable Hours Expectation: 1,850 (which includes up to 100 hours of approved pro bono work)
The salary range for the position of a 3-9 Year Associate at Nossaman is $180,000 to $265,000 annually. The successful candidate’s salary for this position is reasonably expected to be set within this range; however, actual compensation will depend on a variety of factors, including, without limitation, the candidate’s qualifications and experience.
