SACRS 2018 Spring Conference
The State Association of County Retirement Systems (SACRS) hosted its SACRS 2018 Spring Conference from May 15-18, 2018 in Anaheim, CA, which featured several presentations by Nossaman attorneys.
Ashley Dunning presented "Ethics for Public Officials – What Public Retirement System Officials Need to Know (AB 1234 Training)" on May 15, 2018, which addressed the many ethical issues facing public retirement system trustees and executive staff.
Veronica Gray and John Kennedy presented "#MeToo/Time’s UP/It’s On Us!!!," a sexual harassment training certification course that reviewed the profound impact sexual harassment has on individuals and workplaces.
Ashley and Yuliya Oryol also provided a litigation update during the Administrators Breakout session on May, 16, 2018, during which they discussed recent and pending litigation impacting board members, executive staff, investment officers, and in-house counsel of public retirement systems.
