AB1234 Ethics for Public Pensions Trustees

California Association of Public Retirement Systems' Virtual General Assembly
1:00 - 3:00 p.m. PT

On March 8, 2021, Ashley Dunning presented “AB1234 Ethics for Public Pensions Trustees” for the California Association of Public Retirement Systems’ (CALAPRS) Virtual General Assembly. This two-hour mandatory bi-annual training for public officials covered conflict of interest rules, public meeting and record requirements, due process requirements and other significant rules for legal compliance by public officials.

The CALAPRS General Assembly was an educational conference for retirement system trustees and senior staff. This year’s virtual experience allowed attendees to foster one-on-one connections, get to know sponsoring partners and learn from international experts and peers.
