WOTS Up? An Update Regarding Regulation of Waters of the State (WOTS) and Waters of the United States (WOTUS)
Please join Mary Lynn Coffee at the California Water Laws and Regulations Seminar in Irvine, CA on Wednesday, March 25th. Mary Lynn will present “WOTS Up? An Update Regarding Regulation of Waters of the State (WOTS) and Waters of the United States (WOTUS).” The session will go over the scope of “Waters of the State,” activities that require permits, new and supplemental permitting requirements, permitting program exclusions, comparisons of other state and federal aquatic resource protection programs, legal updates for the Waters of the United States and Section 404 permitting requirements.
In this all-day program, attendees will achieve the following learning objectives: explore California surface water and groundwater rights; examine state and federal water quality regulations, including stormwater, sewage and public water supply regulations; review current issues with the Clean Water Act; examine Monsanto regulations regarding PFAs and PFOAs; and get an update regarding regulation of WOTS and WOTUS.
This seminar is open to the public and offers 6.0 CLE hours to California attorneys.
