On May 10, 2022, Ed Roggenkamp participated as a speaker for “Site Remediation Considerations for Real Estate Transactions in 2022,” a webinar hosted by Roux.

Ed and his fellow presenter, Ed Weagle of Roux, reviewed the new version of the “All Appropriate Inquiries” standard published by the American Society for Testing and Materials, ASTM Standard E1527-21, and adopted by the Environmental Protection Agency effective May 13, 2022. They then discussed the practical and legal considerations for purchasers of real estate to reduce risk and maximize the potential recovery of remediation costs, including the implications of due diligence for the statute of limitations.
