"Compensation for California School Boards Association Officers Comes into Question"

Channel KCRA 3

Nossaman Senior Policy Advisor, Richard Harris, was featured in a televised report on Channel KCRA 3 regarding a recent controversy over the California School Boards Association's (CSBA) top salaries and pension packages.  Sen. Gloria Romero, D-Los Angeles, chairwoman of the Senate's Education Committee, has asked the CSBA for information on compensation, bonuses, credit card audits and pension packages -- but so far has not received a response.

Mr. Harris serves as vice president of the Davis Joint Unified School District board.  His comments on the issue can be found in the KCRA.com article, "Romero to CSBA: 'Come Clean'" as well as in the televised report.
