Daily Journal

Patrick Harder, the Chair of Nossaman’s Infrastructure Practice Group, was recognized as one of the Top 100 lawyers in California for 2018 by the Daily Journal, California’s leading legal newspaper.  The Top 100 supplement annually recognizes California lawyers whose work has had an impact in the state and nationally.

The Daily Journal noted that over the past year, Mr. Harder has been the lead on P3 Infrastructure projects with a combined value of over $9 billion.  These projects include the $6 billion LAX modernization project, considered to be the largest public-private partnership undertaken by the City of Los Angeles and the $1 billion 790,000 square foot campus expansion project at the University of California Merced [as well as] the $1 billion Gerald Desmond Bridge Replacement Project in Long Beach, California.

Reflecting on his practice and how the projects he leads will impact the communities they are located in, Mr. Harder said he thinks there are creative ways to deliver things that are important to society…this kind of stuff gets you up in the morning and charged up to make a difference.  The profile of Mr. Harder closes by referencing his role as a board member for the Cornell Program in Infrastructure Policy and the California Transportation Foundation.
