Nossaman Expands Corporate Group, DC Office with Addition of Peggy Bennett
Washington, DC – We are pleased to announce Peggy Bennett has joined our Corporate Group as a partner in the Washington, DC office. She joins from Bennett LoCicero & Liu.
Peggy’s practice focuses on white-collar criminal defense, administrative enforcement matters, campus disciplinary actions, Title IX matters and SORNA registration. She represents clients in both local and federal courts and has experience representing witnesses in investigations conducted by a number of government agencies, including the Department of Justice, the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau and the Securities and Exchange Commission. In addition to her legal experience, Peggy worked for two years as a Global Director of Strategic Accounts for Knoll, Inc. This experience gave her unique insight into corporate governance and day-to-day business operations.

Peggy received her J.D. from New York University School of Law. She holds a B.A. degree in Urban Studies from the New School University in New York City. She is a member of the District of Columbia and New York State Bars and is admitted to practice in the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York and in the District of Maryland. Additionally, Peggy is a member of the Edward Bennett Williams Inn of Court and the John Carroll Society. She has been recognized by Best Lawyers for her work.
