Racquel Muindi Highlighted for Pro Bono Work

Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles

Racquel Muindi was highlighted by the Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles (LAFLA) for her pro-bono work with the organization. Commenting on her experience with LAFLA, Racquel said, “It has been a privilege partnering with LAFLA and passing kindness onto others who are facing barriers to employment or housing as a result of their criminal convictions. At a time when so many in our community are feeling discouraged, partnering with LAFLA has renewed my hope and encouraged me just as much as it has my clients.”

LAFLA seeks to achieve equal justice for people living in poverty across Greater Los Angeles. The organization changes lives through direct representation, systems change and community education.
