Katherine Jordan advises institutional clients on alternative investments in private equity, hedge funds, private credit and real estate. She also assists emerging and established companies with a range of corporate transactions, including joint ventures as well as mergers and acquisitions.
Previously, Katherine worked for a Northern California law firm and represented both private and public companies in various business transactional matters related to corporate governance, entity formation, buyouts and corporate finance. In addition, she served emerging companies with the UC Hastings Institute for Innovation Law in the Startup Legal Garage, a unique collaboration between law firms and UC Hastings.
Katherine reviews proposed alternative investments, advising public pension plans with respect to investment terms, preparing memoranda of legal analysis, completing subscription materials and electing most favored nations’ provisions.
