11th Infrastructure Zoom Breakfast of Spring 2023
Alyn Shen was the featured guest speaker for the 11th Infrastructure Zoom Breakfast of Spring 2023, hosted by the Cornell Program in Infrastructure Policy (CPIP). Alyn shared her thoughts about how and why public infrastructure projects experience challenges, during both the procurement and construction phases, and best practices for preempting these challenges through contract drafting and thoughtful contract implementation.
CPIP, part of the Cornell Jeb E. Brooks School of Public Policy, is focused on improving the delivery, maintenance, and operation of physical infrastructure. This is accomplished through dedicated teaching, research, and outreach efforts in infrastructure policy. CPIP coordinates scholars across multiple disciplines both inside and outside of Cornell University who share an interest in public policies impacting infrastructure.
