"Miami Port Tunnel Concession A PPP Showcase"

Nossaman’s infrastructure group represents the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) and is currently serving as legal advisor to the $1 billion Port of Miami Tunnel project. FDOT, in partnership with Miami-Dade County and the City of Miami, has selected the Miami Access Tunnel consortium consisting of Babcock & Brown Infrastructure Group, Bouygues and Transfield Services to complete the project. Under a Notice of Intent the consortium has been chosen to design, build, finance, operate and maintain the proposed tunnel, which will be the largest bored tunnel in the United States.
