Nossaman Expands Real Estate Litigation Team with Addition of David Farkas

Los Angeles, CA We are pleased to announce the addition of David Farkas as a partner in the Litigation Group in our Los Angeles office. David spent the early part of his career as an associate at Nossaman, and he rejoins the Firm from Coleman Frost.

David is a business litigator with a practice that focuses on real estate, construction, mass transit, insurance coverage and healthcare disputes. He has represented his largely institutional clients in varied complex commercial matters in federal and state court raising claims of fraud, government false claims, breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, conversion, legal malpractice, business torts and unfair competition. David also has experience in employment matters, defending actions for wrongful termination, misappropriation of trade secrets, and other violations of federal and state employment laws.

“David’s vast experience as a litigator will serve our clients well,” said Jill Jaffe, co-chair of Nossaman’s Real Estate Group. “We are excited he is coming back to Nossaman.”

Commenting on rejoining the Firm, David said, “I am energized by my return to Nossaman. The Firm’s California roots and national litigation platform is an ideal fit for my practice. I look forward to working with a fantastic team of attorneys and providing outstanding service to our litigation clients.”

David obtained his J.D. and a Certificate in Dispute Resolution from Pepperdine University School of Law in 1999. While at Pepperdine, he received the American Jurisprudence Award for Federal Courts and earned the Dean’s Award. David graduated with a B.A. in Political Science in 1993 from the University of Richmond, where he was a member of the Golden Key National Honor Society, the Pi Sigma Alpha National Political Science Honorary Society and the Dean’s List.
