The National Law Journal has named Nossaman to its "2016 Midsize Hot List," a special feature that highlights 20 leading midsize law firms across the country.  This is the third year in a row, and the fourth time overall that Nossaman has been named to the list.  Nossaman was previously selected for the Midsize Hot List in 2011, 2014 and 2015.

For the list, editors at the National Law Journal selected firms ranging in size from 51 to 150 attorneys that have  "used their creativity and skill to stay competitive in courtrooms and at deal tables across the U.S. and have held their own, often against much larger firms.

This year's report highlights Nossaman's strength working on some of the largest, most complex infrastructure projects in the U.S. in Arizona, California, Maryland and North Carolina, and notes that the Firm has been at the forefront of this area for decades. It notes the Firm's recent work with the Michigan Department of Transportation on its $125 million freeway lighting project, and the positive impact this project will have in the state.

The report also underscores the key hires Nossaman has made across a number of practice groups and offices, with George Joseph, Nossaman’s Managing Partner, stating that over the last year the Firm has had prominent attorneys and policy makers join "in the environment and land use, water, health care, public policy and public pensions groups and expanded our presence in Seattle, Texas and Washington, D.C."
