12th Annual Texas Transportation Forum
02.07.2017
Austin, TX

Shant Boyajian spoke at the 12th Annual Texas Transportation Forum, which took place in Austin, Texas.  This year, the Texas Department of Transportation celebrated its 100th anniversary, and the Forum explored how the innovations of today and the geo-political landscape will affect what's next for transportation in Texas, the nation, and the world.

Shant was a panelist for the presentation, "Protecting Drivers and Their Data: To Regulate or Not to Regulate?  That is the Question."  This panel looked at the collection and analysis of data from drivers as well as what the future holds for big data and transportation.  They also discussed what private and governmental entities do with this data, and what responsibilities exist, or should exist, to protect this ever growing wealth of information.
