We assisted a corporate technology company client with securing a 10-year lease of a data center in the Pacific Northwest from a leading national data center provider, with the option to renew the space for two additional five-year periods.

Amid government office closures, we assisted the Port of Long Beach in selling its interim administrative office building.

We negotiated a new lease with a reduced footprint and construction contract for a U.S. tech company for its Canadian office.

After multiple years of hard-fought and contentious litigation, we negotiated a full resolution of the dispute that included the sale of a country club to a homeowner’s association.

We represented a public pension system in its acquisition of a multi-floor office building for use as its headquarters.

We represented a real estate company in leasing out three buildings.

We helped a regional real estate developer and an institutional investor form a new entity to jointly develop projects in the Mid-Atlantic.

Nossaman assisted a large public pension system in its acquisition of a largely vacant office building in an underserved neighborhood to be used for its new retirement system headquarters.

We represented the Port of Long Beach in the forced divestiture of a leasehold interest in the Port by its most significant tenant, at the behest of the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS).

We assisted Oakmont Senior Living LLC, a leading provider of assisted living and memory care facilities in California and Nevada, in the $399 million sale of eight senior living facilities to HCP, Inc.

A successful defense against condemnation enabled the owner securing entitlements for a 450+ unit mixed-use residential development.

We represented a public agency in negotiating a long-term ground lease with a developer so new housing can be constructed near a transit hub.

In a period of five months in 2019, Nossaman closed 13 loans totaling more than $302 million for a client who develops, constructs, owns, and operates multifamily housing on the West Coast.

Nossaman assisted a California public pension system in the portfolio sale of six properties to a commingled real estate fund and the reinvestment of the proceeds. 

Nossaman represented client Ag Land Trust in suing a developer for breach of a contract to deed a 200-acre mitigation parcel to Ag Land.

We represented a foreign real estate fund, sponsored by an Asian investor, in the acquisition of the office building at 555 Montgomery Street in San Francisco.

We helped The Regents of the University of California reach commercial and financial close on the UC Merced 2020 Project, a $1.3 billion campus expansion to accommodate the university’s rapidly growing student body.
