David Graeler, chair of Nossaman's Litigation Department and co-chair of the Real Estate Group, and Artin Shaverdian, a partner in the Eminent Domain & Valuation Group, were recognized by the Los Angeles Business Journal (LABJ) in its “Leaders of Influence: Minority Attorneys 2023” supplement. The supplement features a select group of Los Angeles County’s leading minority attorneys who are particularly stellar and act as trusted advisors to their clients while contributing to the region’s business and legal communities on a daily basis.

The LABJ highlighted David for his “25 years of litigation and trial experience representing both plaintiffs and defendants” and noted that he “excels at partnering with his clients to identify their goals and to develop and execute winning strategies to effectively resolve complex business disputes both inside and outside the courtroom [and] has honed his ability to communicate and connect with judges and juries, as well as with clients, witnesses and other attorneys.”

The publication lauded Artin for being “widely recognized as an expert in California in real estate, eminent domain and inverse condemnation matters [and] representing public agencies, business entities and individuals in commercial and real estate related disputes, including valuation-related litigation.” The article added that he has worked “on some of the largest public works projects shaping California’s infrastructure, including roads, highways, utilities, grade separations, rail projects, schools, flood basins and redevelopment projects.”
