Structuring Success in the Mid-Atlantic States

We helped a real estate developer and an institutional investor form a new entity to jointly develop projects in the Mid-Atlantic region.

The parties involved tapped Nossaman to help form a joint venture between their two entities.  Through both new construction and rehabilitation, the joint venture will acquire and develop several multifamily, mixed use, and office projects.

Our assignment included structuring the joint venture and negotiating the joint venture agreement.  We also developed the related project management and development services agreements used for each of the resulting projects.

The resulting joint venture is forecasting the development of between eight and 10 residential and office projects within the region, most of which will include an affordable housing component.
