Impacts of COVID-19 on Litigation Economic Damages
Please join Nossaman and GHJ for a joint presentation on "Impacts of COVID-19 on Litigation Economic Damages" on April 13, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. PT. Our panel will review three hypothetical matters across an array of industries – Real Estate, Healthcare and Food & Beverage – to explore the short-term and long-term economic impacts of COVID-19. Our speakers will explore the following issues:
- How to determine if you have suffered COVID-19-related losses and what you can do about it;
- How damages differ for a temporary business interruption vs. a permanent business interruption;
- How to prove in a court of law what you are owed, and by whom; and
- Best practices and strategies for working with outside accountants and internal financial staff to recoup losses.
We invite you to submit your questions for our panel during registration so we can address your concerns during the session.
