Yukiko Kojima, Brad Kuhn and Artin Shaverdian were recognized as visionaries by Los Angeles Times B2B Publishing in its 2025 Commercial Real Estate report. The report highlights professionals working in the industry with “standout achievements that have earned them distinction across Los Angeles and Orange Counties and beyond.”

Yukiko Kojima is lauded for offering her clients “a unique experience with alternative delivery strategies for large-scale projects.” The Times further notes, “She co-authored the firm’s model social infrastructure P3 legislation and is rated nationally and globally by Chambers in the field of P3s. She advises public agencies on innovative methods for developing major infrastructure, with current projects including advising the City of Los Angeles on its Convention Center expansion. A former national board member of the Design-Build Institute of America, she was a leader on the Nossaman team that advised Maryland on its first transit P3 project, the $3.4-billion Purple Line Light Rail.”

Brad Kuhn is recognized for his role as “the chair of Nossaman’s Eminent Domain & Inverse Condemnation Group.” He is called “a nationally recognized leader in land use and property dispute that has advised on some of California’s most significant infrastructure projects, including work the City of Oakland regarding the Coliseum Complex.” The Times notes his Chambers ranking and closes by saying, “He holds the prestigious CRE designation and serves as chair of the California Chapter of the Counselors of Real Estate and is a sought-after speaker and author. He has spent nearly two decades guiding public agencies, utilities and property owners through more than $30 billion of real estate development and infrastructure projects.”

Artin Shaverdian is the managing administrative partner for Nossaman’s Los Angeles office. He is highlighted for being “widely recognized as an expert in real estate valuation and related litigation.” The Times praises his work on “some of the largest public works projects shaping the nation’s infrastructure, representing a diverse roster of clients that includes public agencies, business entities and private individuals.” Additionally, the publication states, “His experience gives him a unique perspective that has led to unparalleled success in representing both sides of a transaction.” The article closes by noting, “His clients include the California High-Speed Rail Authority, the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority and Virgin Hyperloop One.” In addition to his work in the infrastructure world, he is a sought-after counselor on other real property related matters including land use matters, purchase and sale transactions, rent stabilization issues, leasing, title and escrow matters and quiet title actions.
