2017 Cybersecurity Symposium

Nossaman & University of California, Irvine's 2017 Cybersecurity Symposium
10.23.2017
Los Angeles, CA

Nossaman and University of California, Irvine School of Law hosted "Cybersecurity, Data Breach, and Privacy: A Real World Perspective on Prevention, Response and the Future."  This complimentary half-day seminar explored recent developments in internal and external cybersecurity, data breach and privacy threats and their implications on both the private and public sectors.

John Felker, Director of the National Cybersecurity and Communications Integration Center for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, provided the keynote address.

The program focused on a mock data breach scenario as Nossaman attorneys, select faculty from University of California, Irvine School of Law, national business leaders, and leading industry consultants examined real world response tactics and prevention techniques and look ahead to the future of cybersecurity.

This was a must-attend event for in-house counsel and senior executives responsible for protecting vulnerable business applications, intellectual property, and customer data.  Attendees gained an understanding of how changes in the industry are impacting the ways public and private sector organizations protect against data breaches.
