03.21.2018
Memphis, TN

Brooke Wahlberg presented "Eagle Permits" on March 21, 2018 during the American Wind Energy Association's Wind Project Siting & Environmental Compliance Conference 2018 in Memphis, TN.

Eagle permits continue to be a source of frustration and uncertainty for wind project development. This panel offered discussion on the implementation of the 2016 Eagle Rule and efforts to define a path to low(er) risk permits that can be secured at a cost and timeframe that is more in line with relative impacts. The panel also addressed other parts of the 2016 Eagle Rule, including the Bayesian collision risk model, mitigation options and post-construction monitoring.
