Paul Weiland addressed recent updates on case law and regulatory developments related to the Endangered Species Act during the California Building Industry Association's (CBIA) 55th Select Conference on Industry Litigation (SCIL) on February 23, 2019 in Carlsbad, CA.

CBIA hosts the Select Conference on Industry Litigation twice a year. The SCIL is an event where the homebuilding and development industry’s top attorneys gather to discuss a wide range of topics facing the industry. In addition to the ESA, the 55th conference focused on topics including wildfires and land use, the CARB Scoping Plan, housing supply and affordability policies, drought regulations, climate change, prevailing wages, SB 375, water and air quality, and more.
