Legal Aspects of Easements
Brad Kuhn and Artin Shaverdian gave an in-depth presentation on the, "Legal Aspect of Easements" at the monthly luncheon hosted by Chapter 27 of the International Right of Way Association (IRWA) in West Sacramento.
Brad and Artin focused on the scope and terms of various types of easements, how they are considered for valuation purposes in eminent domain actions, and what every public agency, right-of-way, consultant, and appraiser should understand about temporary construction easements and how to deal with project impacts.
IRWA is an organization that seeks to empower professionals by elevating ethics, learning, and a standard of excellence within the global infrastructure real estate community. IRWA additionally provides and promotes a forum to share ideas, discuss challenges and solutions, and build relationships with other professionals in the industry.
