Institutional Limited Partners Association Lunch
04.22.2019
Los Angeles, CA
11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. PT

On April 22, 2019, Yuliya Oryol and Jennifer Choi, ILPA’s Managing Director of Industry Affairs, shared an up-close look at the key ideas and implementation of Institutional Limited Partners Association's (ILPA) Principles 3.0.

Since the ILPA Private Equity Principles were first published in September 2009, the industry has undergone fundamental changes. It has become fully regulated in the United States and Europe and embraced transparency, in particular around costs. At the same time, fund structures have become more varied and complex, and the continuing evolution of general partners and their platforms has presented unique challenges to alignment of interests. In response to these changes, ILPA has been diligently working on updating the Principles in order to strike greater balance in general partner/limited partner relationships.
