California Lawyers Association's Open Meetings and Open Records Conference 2019

Jill Jaffe presented "Social Media and Open Government" at the USF Fromm Institute as part of the California Lawyers Association's Open Meetings and Open Records Conference on May 31, 2019. Her presentation focused on how agencies have to govern and communicate with the public in meaningful and relevant ways. The session explored various social media platforms and the risks that public agencies and their officials face utilizing these forms of media to interact with and reach their constituents.
