A Conversation with Judge David Tatel

On June 17th, Bob Adler will co-moderate a conversation with his close friend of 50 years, Judge David Tatel, who served nearly 30 years on America’s second highest court, the United States Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit, where many of the country’s most crucial cases are decided. While on the Court, he wrote more than 750 decisions, including landmark voting rights and environmental cases. Before going on the bench, he was one of the country’s leading civil rights attorneys. Judge Tatel had a remarkable career despite being blind for decades.
