On October 17, 2023, Chris Hughes presented “Cryptocurrency and Bankruptcy,” a webinar hosted by the San Diego Bankruptcy Forum. Chris provided an overview of cryptocurrency in bankruptcy, including emerging issues such as locating, encumbering and disposing of cryptocurrency in bankruptcy cases.

The San Diego Bankruptcy Forum (SDBF) is a nonprofit mutual benefit corporation founded in 1989. SDBF is affiliated with the California Bankruptcy Forum, along with six other local forums: Orange County, Los Angeles, Bay Area, Sacramento, Inland Empire and Central California. The goal of the organization is to provide educational support and networking opportunities for its members.
