On November 11, 2025, Michelle McCarthy and Michelle Mellon-Werch presented “Mental Health Parity – Audits of Public Sector Plans” during the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans (IFEBP) 71st Annual Employee Benefits Conference. This session addressed the Department of Health & Human Services’ implementation of the non-quantitative treatment limitation comparative analysis requirements under the Mental Health Parity and Addiction Equity Act (MHPAEA) for non-federal governmental plans under the final rules.
