On April 27, 2026, Joe Saka lead the session “Policyholder Counsel Perspective: Strengthening Coverage at Placement and Spotting Problems Before the Claim” during the TechAssure Global Member Conference. During this session, Joe discussed how lessons from coverage disputes after major losses can help brokers identify potential gaps and opportunities to strengthen protection during procurement and renewal. The session focused on (1) recognizing problematic policy language in view of real-world coverage disputes and the insured’s business; (2) identifying opportunities to enhance or expand protection through endorsements; and (3) addressing known claims or potential claims during the renewal process.
