On June 6, 2019, Patricia de la Peña presented "Reducing Project Risk Through Effective Use of Risk Transfer: Performance Guarantees, Surety and Insurance" for the American Road & Transportation Builders Association’s (ARTBA) 11th Annual Law & Regulatory Forum.
