5:00 - 6:00 p.m. ET

On April 22, 2021, Bob Adler made a presentation—“Strategies in Dealing with the IRS in Penalty Cases Involving Non-Reporting of Foreign Assets and Income”—to the Tax and Accounting Group of Consulegis, an international, multidisciplinary referral network of law and CPA advisory firms. Bob examined the penalties, include possible criminal referrals by IRS agents, and suggested techniques to use in working with the IRS to reduce those penalties and to lessen the chances for a criminal referral. Participants in the virtual meeting from other countries then shared their own experiences in this area.
