Liz Klebaner, a partner in our Environment & Land Use Group and co-chair of the firm’s Pro Bono Committee, was recognized by the Los Angeles Business Journal (LABJ) in its “Thriving in Their 40s” supplement. The supplement focuses on a select group of professionals who possess a unique skill set that can set growth in motion for businesses in virtually any industry.

In its profile, the LABJ highlights Liz’s work advising “private and public agency clients on a variety of complex land use and environmental matters, including California Environmental Quality Act, National Environmental Policy Act, California Coastal Act, Williamson Act, Subdivision Map Act, planning and zoning law and federal and state environmental regulatory compliance and litigation matters.”

The article goes on to note Liz’s role as pro bono co-chair, stating that her work “includes mentoring junior attorneys, fostering partnerships between Nossaman and pro bono legal services organizations, and overseeing charitable contributions to organizations that deliver pro bono legal services. She also handles pro bono immigration and asylum matters.”
