Nossaman News Release

Orange County, CA — We are pleased to announce that Kevin Day has joined our Eminent Domain & Inverse Condemnation Group as a partner in the Orange County office. He joins from Frost Brown Todd.

Kevin focuses his practice on helping clients – public entities, transportation agencies, publicly regulated utilities and private business owners – resolve eminent domain and complex business disputes throughout California. He has worked on a variety of public projects, including roadway realignments, subterranean pipelines, electrical facilities, public transportation facilities, school campus acquisitions and the infrastructure and property rights necessary for the development, production and transmission of renewable energies throughout the state. Kevin has deep experience in all phases of public projects and heavily litigated eminent domain actions, including pre-project planning and acquisition, early project implementation and all aspects of eminent domain and inverse condemnation trial work. Kevin recently guided a water district through the lengthy extraction process from a joint powers authority allowing the development of a landmark water purification system to benefit its customers. In addition, he has tried and arbitrated numerous complex business litigation matters throughout California.

“I am proud to welcome Kevin to the Firm, his skillset is an ideal fit for our practice” said Brad Kuhn, chair of Nossaman’s Eminent Domain & Inverse Condemnation Group. “I’ve known Kevin for more than 25 years and can attest to his professionalism and the exceptional work he’d done over the course of his career.
