Ksenia Smoroda

Ksenia Smoroda supports attorneys in complex real estate, commercial, employment, eminent domain and construction litigation cases. She assists in all phases of litigation and trial preparation, including preparing and managing trial exhibits, organizing witness files and supporting attorneys during trial proceedings. She has experience preparing for and attending trials, depositions, mediations and hearings. She supports and collaborates closely with attorneys and litigation support teams to develop and implement effective document review strategies, manage large-scale document productions and ensure quality control measures throughout the litigation process.

Ksenia's responsibilities include preparing and filing litigation and arbitration case pleadings, drafting condemnation pleadings, condemnation resolutions, stipulations and settlement agreements and coordinating with legal teams to ensure procedural requirements and deadlines are met. In addition, Ksenia drafts and prepares discovery requests, conducts legal research, generates search term reports, drafts litigation pleadings and analyzes motions, briefs, deeds and purchase agreements, among other legal documents. She has experience participating in and coordinating meet-and-confer conferences regarding discovery disputes and document productions. She also works closely with clients, appraisers and external parties to facilitate property acquisitions, evaluate project-related documentation, resolve disputes and finalize agreements. Her eminent domain experience includes reviewing and analyzing property acquisition records, right-of-way and title documents, assisting with valuation and damages-related materials and supporting condemnation proceedings from pre-litigation through trial.
