Overview
Molly Mattison represents clients before the U.S. Court of Federal Claims, advises clients on regulatory and licensing pathways for commercial energy development and negotiates settlements with the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE). Her experience involves analyzing technical and mathematical documents, including engineering assessments, structural monitoring programs, Environmental Assessments, Environmental Impact Statements and Safety Analysis Reports.
Before joining Nossaman, Molly represented and advised clients in litigation, transactional and regulatory matters before the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC), the Department of Labor (DOL) and other state and federal agencies. She prepared annual DOE spent nuclear fuel settlement submissions, that included assessing claimed costs under DOE settlement agreements, covered activities and supply and construction contracts. She also has counseled on whistleblower claims and investigations by the NRC’s Office of Investigations, DOL and DOE in whistleblower litigation and government investigations into alleged retaliation, regulatory violations and other suspected wrongdoing.
